ANO Studio is a design studio and online shop based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, specializing in art prints and illustration with a Japanese aesthetic. The studio is run by Hannah, a real Japan lover herself.

Sustainability is also a key focus, with the use of soy inks and recycled FSC certified paper. Everything is produced and printed locally in The Netherlands.

So 'ano' does it actually mean something? Ano あの is a Japanese word that can be used as a space filler in conversations, similar to saying "umm." It's a great way to fill up conversation when you are a bit shy or hesitant like I sometimes am!

Always dreaming of Japan!
