I illustrate little pieces of Japan, street scenes, buildings, shop corners. The stuff I find beautiful and that catches my eye.

I love a good piece of chunky architecture and my work always has a bit of a tranquil or even desolate quality to it. Which is one of the things I love so much about Japan, the juxtaposition between the busyness and the calm. And the way I, as an outsider, can partake in that but never fully engage with it.
