I love a good piece of chunky architecture and my work always has a bit of a tranquil (or maybe even desolate) quality to it. Which is one of the tings that I love so much about Japan, this juxtaposition between the busyness and the calm. And the way I, as an outsider, can partake in that but never fully engage with.
